The Outdoor Education Course
Join us for an unforgettable week of adventure activities in the great outdoors.
Based either at our Ashdown Forest centre or the Peak District, these 5 day courses give you a variety of opportunities to learn a host of new skills, meet some great likeminded people, and of course have loads of fun!
Unlike many Activity Weeks offered by other companies, who offer taster sessions and little flexibility, we focus on teaching you the skills you need to safely undertake your own adventures, tailoring each day to your needs.
Our expert instructors will provide tuition and coaching in line with our companies high standards, giving you every opportunity to learn at your own pace. We work on a 1-4 Instructor Participant ratio as a minimum, which provides a more personal touch and ensures a high standard of training.
This course is suitable for all abilities; you do not need to have lots of experience in any of the activities, just a reasonable level of fitness, a willingness to learn, and a good sense of humour.

Accommodation is by camping in our private field, in our unique Glamping Shelters.
Mount Cook is set in the rolling hills of the White Peak, close to Matlock in Derbyshire.
The location is perfect; with Castleton Reservoir a short drive away for paddle sports training and the vast array of Limestone and Gritstone Crags within a short drive for climbing.
The centre boasts two large meeting rooms, a 120 seat dining hall and extensive grounds. Accommodation at the centre is in 4 birth en suite rooms.
