Courses are based at Blackland Farm, the Guide Association campsite near East Grinstead: we are independent of any other organisation at this site.
You can select the date and duration of your course and tell us which are your preferred activities from the list below (subject to availability). Contact us at any time to discuss any aspect.
We can cater for up to 200 guests at a time in a variety of accommodation.

ACTIVITIES
With over 30 activities on site, we can tailor your residential to meet your specific requirements. We offer a range of high and low ropes activities, paddle-sports, teambuilding, bushcraft (new for 2023!) and archery.
These are the activities from which you can select to devise the course of your choice. We can advise on the most popular and relevant.

ACCOMMODATION
The Buildings
Herons
A modern building comprising 6 twin rooms and a dorm for up to 8. Full toilet, kitchen and meeting area facilities. Camping is available immediately outside. N.B. Herons is only available from the end of October to the end of March.
Wagtail Lodge
This building sleeps 26 in 1 dorm and 4 staff in 1 room. There are showers, toilets, kitchen and a spacious meeting area. There is ample camping/marquee space immediately outside. Additional toilet and shower facilities are available close by for campers.
Restrop Lodge
This is situated next to Wagtail Lodge. It sleeps 22 in 1 dorm. And 3 staff in a single room. Facilities are as above, plus an open fire. Great for winter courses! Additional toilet and shower facilities are close by for campers.
Weavers Lodge
This is a very modern building. There are 4 dorms which each sleep 8 and 2 twin staff rooms. 2 meeting areas, a modern kitchen, drying room, shower & toilet facilities. Some camping is available outside. Additional camping facilities: 30 metres away with toilet/shower facilities.
All indoor accommodation has wheel chair access. This means we can run courses throughout the year. Early booking is advised. Your group will need their own sleeping bags and pillows (and sleeping mats if camping).
Camping
Camping Villages:
We use canvas Bell Tents with combined ground sheets for a more ‘al fresco’ style. Each Bell Tent sleeps 6 – 8 guests.
Each ‘village’ has access to its own toilet and shower block and has ample space outside for wide games and activities.
We can also provide a marquee for mealtimes and group briefings.


Glamping Shelters:
Our Glamping Shelters comprise of 14 canvas clad wooden framed structures based in our own independent field with shower and toilet facilities.
Each shelter can sleep up to 6 guests.
A Marquee is provided for mealtime and group briefings.
Guests are required to provide their own sleeping mat, sleeping bag and pillow.
Catering
Our on-site caterer provides breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals. We may ask that guests bring lunch for their first day.
We are happy to cater for all dietary requirements provided we are made aware at least two weeks before your course.
